Our courses range from 1 week to 12 months, depending on what you would like to learn. We also offer packaged courses for those who want to gain overall knowledge that will help equip them to start their fashion businesses.

Join us for an exciting and creative summer at the Fashion Academy Kids Summer Sewing Club! This 4-week program is designed to ignite the passion for fashion in young minds!

(ACCELERATED PROGRAM)

Our Booster course is designed for experienced fashion enthusiasts seeking to refine their expertise. Our personalized approach caters to your specific interests, whether it's mastering bodices, corsetry or other specialized areas.

SEWING AND GARMENT CONSTRUCTION
(BEGINNERS)

This bestseller beginners course is where most students start. It will take you through the very basic elements of design, sewing, machine use, basic pattern manipulation, and garment construction for womenswear.

FASHION DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION

The Fashion Design & Illustration course is ideal for Beginners as well as experienced students with a keen interest in developing their creative ideas through research, design, and development.

FLAT PATTERN MAKING

The pattern making course is designed for those who want to learn professional pattern making/cutting.It enables you understand the science and mathematics of cutting. We call it the architecture of fashion!

PROFESSIONAL SEWING TECHNIQUES

This is a sewing course that focuses on intermediate level sewing techniques. It is for those who can sew but need to enhance their skills to a more professional level.

FASHION BRANDING

This course helps give you the knowledge and information you need to start your journey. We show you how to discover who you are and how to use that to brand your business from a Global point of view.

FASHION BUSINESS

This course focuses on equipping students on the fundamentals and necessary tools of running their fashion business effectively. Setting

foundations that will lead them to become major players in the International world.

DRAPING ON A FORM

Draping on a form is a pattern making method where designs are created on the dress form and then transferred onto paper to make a pattern. It takes the math out of pattern making and allows you a more creative process.

BRIDAL WEAR

Our bridal course at TFA is created for those interested in focusing on the techniques used to create bridal wear and red carpet dresses using corsetry as a foundation of styles. This course is for those interested in taking their skills to an advanced level.

MENSWEAR

This course offers an Introduction into the world of menswear garment making. It is an intermediate course and requires basic sewing skills and a keen eye for detail and perfect sewing.

DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION

Digital Fashion Illustration is ideal for people with some drawing experience. On this course students will be taught how to illustrate digitally, You will learn the process and techniques used to achieve original work.

TAMBOUR BEADING

In this course, you will delve into the art of tambour beading and discover the endless possibilities of creating intricate and stunning designs using this embroidery technique.

TASTE OF VOGUE

For those who want a feel of what lies in the technical world of garment making, this course allows you to test the waters of Fashion design and garment construction in a 5 week intensive but fun session!

PACKAGED COURSES

We offer packaged courses for those who want to gain an all round knowledge that will help equip them to start their fashion businesses.

FASHIONPRENEUR
(6 MONTHS)

Fashionpreneur (6 months) is an intermediate level package of courses for the Fashion professional who seeks to upgrade their knowledge in areas of technical construction as well as the business practice & principles of fashion apparel.

FASHIONPRENEUR
(1 YEAR)

This program comprises of 7 modules offered at TFA. Throughout the year, students will learn all the processes used in various types of garment making. This one year program provides the student with the necessary skills to start up a proper fashion business.
