Join us for an exciting and creative summer at the Fashion Academy Kids Summer Sewing Club! This 4-week program is designed to ignite the passion for fashion in young minds, offering a fun and educational experience that marks the beginning of their fashion journey. The club runs three days a week, from 9 AM to 2 PM, and is split into two groups to cater to both younger and older kids. The younger group is for Ages 7-10 while Older group is for Ages 11-14.

 

Learning outcome:

 

1.) Introduction to Fashion Design.

2.) Mood boards and sketching using croquis templates.

3.) Introduction to Crotchet

4.) Introduction to Tabletop Sewing Machine

5.) Basic sewing Machine stitches and Techniques.

6.) Introduction to Tie dye.

7.) Sewing of Miniature garments: Vest, Shorts, Dress.

8.) Freehand cutting and sewing of Kimono.

9.) Complete and present project of one final outfit.
